The Organizing Committee of the IGMY 2013 | CHANGE is presenting some information which will contribute to preparing the Provinces to take part in the event.

We are close to an important time for the Marist Youth who will take part in the International Marist Youth Meeting (IMYM RIO 2013) and the World Youth Day (WYD). The IMYM wishes to foster the appropriation of the progress made during the previous two meetings (Sydney and Madrid), collaborate with the Marist Institute in response to the calls of the XXI General Chapter, in view of the continuing relevance of the 'dream' of Champagnat.
IMYM RIO 2013 will take place before the WYD, from 17 to 21 July 2013, at the « Colégio Marista São José » – Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. The theme of the meeting is : « CHANGE : make the difference ! » and the motto: « go and make disciples of all nations » (Mt 28: 19). We are already insisting on the importance of preparing the young people who will take part in the Marist meeting and the WYD.
UMBRASIL (the Marist Union of Brasil) is co-ordinating the various aspects connected with the organisation of the Meeting and working closely with the Organizing Commission of IMYMO RIO 2013, in order to assure its success.
