31/08/2011: Chile

During the following days: 27th, 28th, 29th July 2011, the Marist Province of Santa Maria de los Andes welcomed the Mission Team of America Meeting in Santiago, Chile.  The participants were: Brother Luis Carlos Gutierrez and Angelica Alegria (Arco Norte), Brother Valdicer C. Fachi and Mercia Procopio (Brazil), Brother Juan Ignacio Fuentes and Ernesto Reyas (Conosur) and Brother Joao Carlos do Prado (Secretariat of the Mission).

The main objective of the meeting was to reflect upon a Strategic Plan for the Team.  We spent three days working very intensively and we finished with an excellent proposal for the Marist Mission in America.

The evaluation of the meeting was very positive and everyone was very much satisfied with the result.  We were very grateful to the Province of Santa Maria de los Andes for welcoming us and for everything they provided for the meeting.  We would like to thank more particularly Brother Antonio Peralta, Provincial and Brother Mariano Varona, Vice Provincial.
