The Province of « Brasil Centro-Norte » organises meetings on vocation

03/01/2013: Brazil

The  vocation meetings of the second semester of 2012 took place between 9 November and 2 December in different states of the Province : Ribeirão das Neves, Balsas, Maranguape, Itamaracá and Brasilia. They were significant in the lives of young people who have already begun a vocational itinerary for some time and take part in the Marist Vocational Itinerary within the Centre of Animation of Vocations (NAV)

These regional meetings have fostered sharing, reflection, study and group living. The participants have been invited to ecclesial engagement and to the discovery of the specific vocations, all the while learning more about the person of Jesus.

Other aspects to emphasize were :

* The period of mission in surrounding ecclesial communities, in order to give the understanding that vocation is an invitation to meeting others and mission.

* The workshop on vocation based on diverse specific vocations, which helped the  participants gain a deeper understanding of themselves.

* The rereading of the Life Project based on the time and perspective lived in the group.
