Doctor, a lay Marist, tells about testimony of a Syrian woman

Doctor, from the Blue Marists’ group, reveals drama in Aleppo

23/06/2015: Syria

A lay Marist doctor and director of one of the two remaining hospitals in Aleppo has revealed the story of a woman he met who sells buiscuits on the streets for over eight hours a day to survive.

Her husband has been left paralyzed after he was hit by a sniper. She also lost her eldest son after he was killed by a mortar shell fired by the rebels, leaving his wife and children also under her care.

The full story, written by Doctor Nabil Antaki on June 15, is available in ‘La Croix’.
