Zollner stressed the need of permanent listening to the victims as a way of prevention and in the denouncing of a reality that exceeds two million boys, who suffer abuses in the world and he pointed out emphasizing the need of involvement of the whole society “because it is a problem that concerns all”.  The President of the Center for the Protection of Children of the Gregorian University insisted on “the need of working in nets by all the Congregations.  We should work in nets”, he said.

Following this same line Mons. Carballo summarized the action of the Church in three concepts, “we should focalize the work of protection of children and of attention to the victims accepting, accompanying and reconstructing.  It is here where we should center ourselves”.  The Secretary of the Congregation for the Institutes of Consecrated Life and the Societies of Apostolic Life stressed the importance of pardon as a tool for the rehabilitation of the victims”

‘Romper el Silencio, diez rostros, diez voces’ shows according to a global vision, ten witnesses who in different fields and from their intimate and personal experience, explain the work that they carry out for the prevention and protection of sexual abuse, the Marist educational works. A task that passes through formation, accompaniment, sensibility, empowerment, and for facing obstacles and the questions that derive.  It is the question of the witness of ten professional witnesses, who from their point of view and reality face the task of working in favor of the prevention and protection of boys and young people in different countries and contexts.
