I was born on September 23, 1950 in Baiersdorf, Germany. I first met the Marist Brothers when I went to the juniorate in Furth. After the 9.class Gymnasium / Lycee I have done my postulate and on year later my novitiate in Furth. 1970 I had done my First Vows.

I went for 1 year to the scholasticate to Mindelheim to finish the 10th class. I got the degree „Mittlere Reife „. Afterwards I went to Cham to become an Educator / Präfekt for 5 years.
1975 - I had professed my Final Vows.
Then I studied for 4 years in München / Munich Sozialpädagogik. I finished with a degree as „ Staatlich anerkannter Erzieher „. Then I was Präfekt / Educator in Mindelheim till 1984.
Dezember 1984 I started with 3 other Brothers our Mission in Kenya. I was in charge for
Youth work in the parish. 1989 I had to leave Kenya to go Germany for a good treatment because of malaria. In Nemi / Italia I had done my renewal course 1990.
Then I went back to Kenya to MIC / Nairobi as Kitchen Manager for four years.

1995 - I went for a nursing course in the hospital in Regensburg.

1996– 2006 I was working in the infirmary in Furth and also sometimes in youthwork in the parish. I also was caretaker in the house in Furth andI had to superwise two or three civil servants.

I like to swim , to cycle, to walk in the mountain, to read , to sing , to play the trompete...

I was encouraged by Brother Luis Sabrado to go for some years to a misson project.
I am very happy that I could join this Group of Ad Gentes to go to Davao.
